Ham Hock Boiled Peanuts

Put some ham hocks in with the peanuts and pressure cook them for about 30 minutes at 10 lbs of pressure. Wait until there is no pressure left before opening the pot. Add salt before cooking and if not enough salt add some more and let it sit in the brine until they are salty enough for your taste. The ham hocks give them a lot of flavor plus you have meat to eat.

Alva,
Your recipe sounds delicious! Are you boiling green peanuts? It's common to serve boiled peanuts with ham hocks in Asia. Two great tastes, that taste great together!
