Carver's wealth
by: Bret

George Washington Carver was not cheated. He never sought wealth. He filed just 3 patents despite the multiplicity of his inventions. Carver declined a large salary offer from Henry Ford. He chose to continue his research, and teaching at Tuskegee Institute despite low wages. He was a man of the people, and taught farmers about crop rotation to enrich the soil. This benefited everyone.

It should be a lot but probably not
by: Sonja

Probably nothing. I'm pretty sure he got cheated and someone else got rich off his inventions. He wouldn't be the only Black person they did like that to.

Let all be like GWC, think of fellow neighbour, do not be selfish
by: Donald J Chakras

G W Carver had a vision to empower his fellow neighbors from poverty of growing cash crops (tobacco and cotton), he introduced them to groundnuts and sweet potato - let all in the groundnut chain emulate Mr. Carver, improve the well being of the widowed men/women who grow groundnuts in the world, especially in Africa.
