Make it famous
by: Anonymous

You can reasonably believe that George Washington Carver made peanut butter famous. It is impossible to believe that he could find 300 ways to use peanuts and not have peanut butter as one of his findings.

Given his birth date, his studies from twelve years old, and the fact that at the time many White men were able to fund and patent findings that many black scientists and inventors could not. They were also able to get coverage for discoveries black people could not get the recognition. It would be short-sighted to believe that the techniques he used in his many experiments would not be copied by others in the lab or those accessing his Jessup wagon and passed off as their own. It still happens today.
