Kroger Raw Peanuts Front

Hi, I currently live in Colorado and can't find Raw, or Green peanuts around me. I moved from Florida where the Peanut Patch Cajun boiled peanuts were a big part of my diet. Walmart here sells only the hot and spicy and plain flavors. Is there any way I can take the plain boiled peanuts and add the Cajun spices to it? I miss them so much and Hot and Spicy are nowhere near the same.

Yes you can!

Brandon,
Yes you can add Cajun seasoning to plain canned boiled peanuts. Put the canned boiled peanuts in a pot with the juice from the can, and simmer them with the spices that you like. You could also use water, with some salt, and the spices. You'll have to figure out what spices create the taste you want.
You'll find some seasoning suggestions here.

BTW, I recently found Kroger brand dried raw peanuts at King Soopers in Colorado in the produce section.

Really? I haven't seen them!! I'll check tomorrow I miss Cajun peanuts so bad.

Are these seasonings comparable to the canned peanut patch ones?

I only see the roasted ones listed online. Do you have a link or picture?

Kroger Raw Peanuts

Brandon,
I've added 3 photos of the Kroger Raw Peanuts that I bought. I've only found them in one of my local King Soopers so far. If your King Soopers doesn't carry them, perhaps you can ask them to order them for you. Show them the barcode/SKU number in the third photo.

I cannot comment on the canned Peanut Patch Cajun seasonings, because I have not tasted them.

UPDATE: Finally got the raw peanuts. They take a lot longer than I thought to cook but eventually get to a nice texture. I mostly used a bag of Zataran's Crab Boil and some red pepper flakes and stuff and it wasn't super great. The crab boil has lots of cloves and stuff in it and the flavor isn't where I was really aiming. So I'm going to try a different mix today.

Also, do you usually drain or rinse off the peanuts? I was getting spoonfuls of mustard seed and etc.
